​What an amazing fall season!!! Check out these highlights!

SPORTS

  • Football - Football season came to an end after a playoff loss to a tough Skyview team. Ravens battled and won 6 of their last 8 games while placing 14 players on the All League Team! The team will also have 4 players playing in the Cleats vs Cancer All Star Game on Martin Luther King Day.

  • Women's Swim & Dive - 13 swimmers & 1 diver qualified to compete at KingCo early November. Of the 13 swimmers, 4 qualified for Districts (along with the 4 fastest JHS alternates on the team). They then qualified for State last weekend, where they placed 8th 200yd Medley Relay and 13th in 200yd Free Relay (out of 24 competitors each relay)

  • Juanita share 19th place with Camas, out of 39 competing HS.

  • Volleyball - Competed in the 4A KingCo Tournament defeating Newport 3-0, then came up just a bit short in their games against Eastlake and Redmond.  What an amazing season!  

  • Cross Country - Competed at the Wes-King Meet and several kids moved on to State. Lena Duryee, Yeray Rodriguez, George Kosseff.

  • Slowpitch - 4A KingCo and WIAA District 2 Champions!  Competed at State in Yakima, and finishing in the top 6.

  • Women's Soccer - Finished a strong season against Newport in a play-in playoff game (tiebreaker) wrapping up a great season!

  • Men's Tennis - Crown Division Champions!  Several kids competed in KingCo tournament.  Isaiah Leong & Arham Mefta won the 4A KingCo Doubles Championship and sophomore Areeb Mefta earned a 3rd place finish in singles to also punch his ticket to State in the spring.   

  • Men's Golf - Senior Taran Yalamanchili won 4A KingCo Championship to move on to the SeaKing tournament!  Freshman Zach Paulen also qualified for the Sea-King tournament.

  • Cheer - JHS Cheer qualified for the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship in Walt Disney Resort February 2025.  This is their first time qualifying for this event in the last five years!

DECA

Kicked off a Pass the Hat fundraiser to help students with upcoming conference expense, leadership training, and scholarships. Goal is $8k. Consider supporting - to 12/7. 

SUPPORTING THE ARTS

Boosters and PTSA supported the Juanita Drama Production of a Midsummer Night's Dream!

26 JHS students were able to see the play for FREE thanks to the Booster and PTSA.
